Amazing accommodation in an invigoratingly recharging setting
Love Badaguish. Simple, easy access and fantastic location. My favourite place to stay in Scotland.
Sensational Christmas stay
The location is just perfect. 2 minute drive to Morlich beach, 15 drive to Cairgorm mountain resort (ski resort) 2 minute drive to reindeer experience and 4 minutes drive to Aviemore village. Driving into the site I was awed by the backdrop of snowy mountains. Our first night we met a family using the BBQ area make sure to ask about this. You can light your own fire too. I’m a keen photographer and captured some lovely night time photography even a glimpse of the northern lights via camera. So one very happy costumer here. We will most definitely be back. Thanks so so much Badaguish forest lodges.
Beautifully remote, nr Aviemore location
Friendly, beautiful views, feeling of being in nature, good access to Aviemore/ Cairn Gorm.
Fab stay in beautiful location
Absolutely fantastic staff and location. Beautiful cycles for me my 5-year-old, and father-in-law, both on site and close drive away. Staff could not have been more helpful with recommendations.
Excellent stay and the cabin was warm!
Great location and facilities, and a great setting in the trees. Kitchen and bathroom facilities were very good and the Pod was spacious, especially for two people.

Location is perfect, very scenic and quiet, fantastic for a relaxing weekend getaway.
Plenty of parking, all very close to the relevant campsite which made packing and unpacking the car easy.

A beautiful place, you pay for the scenery and it certainly does not disappoint. Stunning views from the pods and plenty of space.

A cosy snowy New Year stay
We stayed here in one of the pods for New Year, 2 adults, and 2 young children.
The pods are cosy, clean and spacious, we brought bedding and blankets as it was forecast to snow and with the heating we were very snug !
The site is fantastic, beautiful and there is east foot access to the fire trails through the forest with spectacular views of the mountains, perfect for morning walks.
For families, the play equipment and facilities were great, including a climbing net, covered sports arena and giant climbing frame (and monkey rings over the pond, which we didn’t attempt due to the weather)
From the pods the kids could play out and enjoy their freedom, the site felt really friendly and safe.
The toilets and washrooms were warm and clean and easily accessible.
The location is perfect, a 10 min drive from Aviemore and only 15 mins from Cairngorm Mountain Ski Resort.
The welcome was lovely and communication was great, the access was snow covered and icy due to the weather but the site had kindly pre-warned us of this and we were in a 4wd so was no problem.
As well as the pods they also have some amazing looking lodges available too.
If you are the adventurous type who likes camping, forest walks and cosy nights, this is the place for you, we absolutely loved it and will be back!

Great pods
We had a great time staying in the pods as a base for our winter sports with our young family. It was clean, warm and more spacious than we expected. The cookhouse and showers are close by. We would recommend staying here.
Brilliant place – friendly and accommodating staff
Went to stay in a Pod at the weekend while on a swimming trip with friends. Got there on the Saturday evening only to find I had booked the wrong date and the pods were fully booked!
Thankfully, the team were very understanding and instead arranged for us to stay in one of their lodges which happened to be available. It turns out it was much more suitable for us and allowed us to dry off our wetsuits etc in the dry room and enjoy a lovely morning swim at Loch Vaa the next day. We had a brilliant night’s sleep and would highly recommend to anyone having an adventure in the area.

Great family holiday
Stayed in a camping pod for 2 nights as a family of 5. Pod is comfy, warm and has a fridge, kettle and microwave. Plenty of space for all of us to spread out. Stunning location and the drive from the main road is simply beautiful. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Toilets and showers are spotless. WiFi worked really well in the pod which is a bonus with a teenager.
Loved everything about our holiday
Place was lovely and peaceful. Lots to do close by and facilities were perfect. We went with 2 young children and will definitely be back.
Beautiful and peaceful surroundings
Fantastic playground for kids, sheltered football court. Facilities in the shared kitchen were very good. The pod was very well equipped, and the beds were very comfortable.
Having kettle microwave and fridge were perfect
The size of bed space was huge with extra pull out foam to lie on. Its tranquil setting away from it all suited us in the last pod.
Loved it here, safe and very family friendly
Will definitely be back just a gem of a spot beautiful area.
