The Speyside Trust
Badaguish and Speyside Trust work together to form an inclusive outdoor hub by providing well-being opportunities for all. The Speyside Trust is a charity whose main aims are to offer “access to all” and to encourage and help people with disabilities and additional support needs to attend camps, holidays, outings, expeditions, outdoor and generally indoor activities and enjoy the Speyside countryside.
We re-opened on 26th April 2021 after a limited operation during the Covid-19 lockdowns and we are keen to welcome previous and new guests to our accessible outdoor hub in Glenmore forest. Although we can’t offer staffed residential care and activities at present, our site remains extremely accessible and many of the facilities are available for families or groups. One addition is we can now offer the option of catering from a private on-site catering company which can provide food or meals booked in advance for groups.
One thing which has not changed is the tranquil and inspiring environment of Badaguish, which many local people were able to use during lockdown to reconnect both with other people and with nature. Post-lockdown, our site remains an idyllic space to offer visitors from further afield the space to do the same in an open, safe environment.
The Charity is undergoing some restructure and we are working with several collaborators to develop the current charitable provision in order to support to our guests.
