Permanent Part Time Assistant Housekeeper

Speyside Trust has an exciting and unique opportunity for an experienced Assistant Housekeeper to join our small team within the Badaguish Centre. This with an immediate start date. The post will be for a minimum of two days per week but this is negotiable. Additional days may be available to work at peak times and on occasions evening and weekend work will be required. The starting rate of pay will be £13 per hour.

Our Assistant Housekeeper will work alongside one other Assistant Housekeeper reporting to the Head Housekeeper and assist with the smooth day to day running of Badaguish Centre and carry out cleaning, care and maintenance of all accommodation and facilities. This will include deputising in the Head Housekeepers absence and liaising with and coordinating external housekeeping contractors.

The successful applicant will have the responsibility to assist with maintenance of all related administrative tasks including performance monitoring and record keeping for compliance with health & safety regulations, and quality assurance processes.

Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate:

• Experience, skills and understanding of housekeeping preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Organisational, forward planning and performance management skills.

The Badaguish Centre is situated in the heart of Glenmore Forest Park and is not served by public transport. The successful applicant would have to make their own travel arrangements to site.

Part-time hours: 24 per week negotiable

Salary: £13.00 per hour

Accommodation: Basic single person temporary accommodation may be available.

Experience:

• Housekeeping: 1 year (preferred)
• A valid driving licence would be preferable
